Nordic Product Manager wanted by NEC Display Solutions – the next step in your career?

NEC Display Solutions is the leading player within the Nordic display market, and we are to hire a Product Manager for our Nordic team

The Product Manager is a key resource that is responsible for securing that the sales managers have the necessary knowledge of NEC product and solution portfolio. Main responsibility is to be the bridge between central Product Managers and the Nordic sales team. The Product Manager will also be acting as an extension of the service/support in the region for the central Service/QC department. It is also expected that the Product Manager is out in the field to support the sales team in projects which requires in-depth technical knowledge. The position is based at our office in Oslo, Norway.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Main connection between Product Managers in NEC Display Solution Europe and the local sales organization
  • Product and technical training of sales team
  • In depth technical training towards key partners throughout the region
  • Support the sales team and partners on tenders which requires technical competence
  • Pro-actively inform the Sales department about product development
  • Market intelligence (competitor products/solutions)
  • Support and participate on regional market- and customer activities
  • Contact with «technical press» related to new products and tests
  • Customer contact and support based on enquiries
  • Translation and proof-reading of technically related press releases
  • Project management of NECs participation on exhibitions/event

Experience and professional qualifications:

  • Technical education
  • 3-5 years relevant experience (technical)
  • It is desirable that you have experience from the IT/AV channel
  • Above average interest and knowledge in technical products and solutions
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office (above average knowledge in PPT and Excel)
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian (both written and verbal)
  • Good understanding of the Scandinavian languages
